Sioux City Railroad Museum

It is an honor and privilege to call the Sioux City Railroad Museum complex our home and to serve as the base of future operations.

As we continue forward with this project, we literally will be walking in the same footsteps as the thousands of railroad crewmen, shopmen, and general laborers that came to work every day before us.

For 65 years (1917-1981) as one of the largest maintenance and repair complexes for the Milwaukee Road, countless numbers of locomotives and other rolling stock were cared for here. It is surreal to think that in time things have come full circle, and we have the opportunity to do the same once again.
